Terms of use

Last updated 26 September 2026

Using liltale means accepting what is below. It is written to be read rather than survived, and it says what the site actually does.

Your account

One person, one account, and you are responsible for what happens under it — so keep the password to yourself. You need a working email address, because that is how you get back in. Accounts are for people aged 13 and over.

What you write stays yours

Authors keep every right to their work. Posting it here grants liltale permission to store it, show it to readers, and display excerpts and covers where the site links to it — nothing more, and only for as long as you leave it up.

You are confirming it is yours to post. Work copied from someone else is removed; see the copyright page.

What is not allowed

Someone else’s work passed off as yours; sexual content involving minors, in any form, including fiction; content that exists to harass a real person; anything unlawful where you are. Mature themes are allowed and exist to be marked as such, so mark them.

Also not allowed: scripted traffic, attempts to inflate rankings or reads, and probing the site for weaknesses. If you find a security problem, writing to osamamumtaz96@gmail.com is both more useful and more welcome.

Moderation

Content that breaks the rules can be hidden or removed, and accounts can be suspended or banned. Serious cases are acted on immediately; for everything else you will be told what happened and can reply. Decisions are made by a person and can be argued with.

If coins are switched on

Coins are a way to unlock chapters early. They are not currency, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or cashed out. Unlocking a chapter is final — it is content delivered immediately — but if something goes wrong on our side, write and it will be put right. Authors are paid a share of what their chapters earn, on the terms shown in the studio.

Leaving

You can delete your account from settings at any time. liltale may close an account that breaks these rules. Either way, the privacy page says what happens to the data.

The boring part

The site is provided as it is. It is young, it can break, and it is not promised to be available without interruption. Back up work that matters to you — the studio’s export is there for that.

These terms can change; the date at the top says when they last did, and a substantive change will be announced on the site.
